Our Story: From Concrete to Construction
The journey of Ojamboshop didn’t start in a workshop—it started in a condo in downtown Toronto. After years of city living, I realized I missed the satisfaction of working with my hands and creating something tangible.
In 2019, I made the decision to leave the Toronto skyline behind. By 2023, I transitioned to a rural setting where I finally had the space to build. What started with small projects quickly grew into a passion for designing and constructing functional outdoor structures, from custom cabinets and raised garden beds to tool sheds and chicken coops.
Our Philosophy: Open & Accessible
I believe that the knowledge to build your own structures should be accessible to everyone. That is why I use open-source tools to design every diagram and blueprint found on this site. Whether you are looking for a weekend woodworking project or a full-scale backyard structure, my goal is to provide clear, detailed, and honest plans that help you succeed on the first try.
